Around the bottom of the waterfall, mist rose gently from the effervescent pool, forming a fleeting rainbow. It came in and out of existence with the rising foam.

Yarkon National Park- A Riverside Walk
Where there’s water, there’s often beauty. Yarkon National Park is one of the few places in Central Israel where you can walk along an unspoiled river and see all of the incredible nature that comes with it.
The Banias
The falls pour down in a rage, into a long river of white water that doesn’t stop bubbling.
Nahal Hameara
We didn’t find any porcupine quills that day, but we did discover wells, antiquities, and lots of flowers on Nahal Hameara.
Nahal Dolev
The long-haired goats had rich brown, speckled coats. Red poppies peeked up from the grass below. And white birds hovered low over the flocks, sharing a symbiotic relationship.
