Sometimes, our ability to enjoy the beauty that surrounds us is more about to peace and quiet than blockbuster scenery. Cyclamen Hill in Tal Shahar turned out to be a perfect place for time spent together in a serene forest.

A gentle drizzle began to fall from the sky. We put our hoods up and walked along the river, through the groves and all the way back to Turtle Bridge.
It was still early in the morning. And the light that filtered through the soft clouds rested gently on a field of tightly closed, red anemones. In between were soft pillows of yellow and bright pops of purple. We had arrived.
