In those early morning hours, the sun made the wild wheat and dry flower stalks look more like woven gold. Under the shadow of trees, we began to notice how pretty the summer landscape really was when it was out of the harsh midday light.
Special Feature: Flower Season
Cyclamen Hill – Tal Shahar
Sometimes, our ability to enjoy the beauty that surrounds us is more about to peace and quiet than blockbuster scenery. Cyclamen Hill in Tal Shahar turned out to be a perfect place for time spent together in a serene forest.
Hof HaSharon Reserve
We stomped through the overgrown flowers, sending white winged butterflies up in a frenzy around us.
Givat HaTurmosim – Simple and Fancy
With a mid-winter burst of spring like the one found on Givat HaTurmosim, it’s no surprise that everyone around flocks to this spot for a much-needed dose of natural beauty. Add a good trail walk through quiet scenery and you’ll have a great morning in the great outdoors.
Nahal Alexander – River Walk to the Beach
A gentle drizzle began to fall from the sky. We put our hoods up and walked along the river, through the groves and all the way back to Turtle Bridge.
