I know that you never imagined that today, you would be celebrating by entering a war zone, a first foray into hostile Hamas territory.  I sure didn’t.

And now here we are back in reality… It’s war time in Israel. Everything feels so gloomy and dark. 

Would I give up on You now when my world is at its darkest?

May all of our soldiers and loved ones return home unharmed.

But there is a light shining bright in the darkness: a light of hope.
