Sunday, March 22nd: Join Hiking the Holyland and our expert guide for an 11 kilometer, 49th segment of the Israel Trail from Masada to Nahal Ye’elim!

We’ll start the day at Masada and explore this incredible desert fortress, enjoying a hot cup of coffee and an intro while we are there. After a complete tour, we will hop onto the Israel Trail which will take us south through the desert near the Dead Sea. We’ll hike past Mount Elazar, where we can see Masada from afar, and towards Nahal Rahaf. We’ll stop in a lovely spot for a lunch break in nature. The last part of the day will take us to Nahal Ye’elim, another desert stream that empties into the Dead Sea. We’ll finish up our amazing journey through the desert with wine and cheese to celebrate our success!

For fit hikers. Minibus transportation available from Savidor Station in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem for an extra fee of 110-140 NIS.
