Before long, we were at the foot of a massive climb – pale rocks like uncut gemstones, glistening in the early morning sun.
Here in the Ramon Crater, there are hard rocks and soft rocks. Red ones and black ones. Chalky white dirt and deep red sand. There’s nothing monotonous about it.
Only twenty minutes of immersion. But that cave will always call me.
The Springs Trail is a great place to experience nature at its best, just outside of the hustle and bustle of the city.
I love seeing the land green, lush, and beautiful after a storm. And hiking along a flowing river that will disappear come springtime.
