Israel Trail #46: Arad & Rahamim Cistern
Sunday, January 25th: Join Hiking the Holyland and our expert guide for a 16 kilometer, 46th segment of the Israel Trail through Arad and into the desert.
We’ll start the day at Tel Arad, and hike on the trail through the desert from towards the city of Arad, enjoying a hot cup of coffee and an intro on the way. The trail will take us past many archeological points of interest as we make our way through beautiful wintertime desert landscapes. We’ll stop in a lovely spot for a lunch break in nature. The last part of the day will take us towards Rahamim cistern, and then we’ll finish up our amazing journey through the desert with wine and cheese to celebrate our success!
For fit hikers. Minibus transportation available from Savidor Station for an extra fee of 110-140 NIS.
