Friday Forest Foraging Tour- for all!

Friday, April 5th: Come and join Hiking the Holyland and foraging extraordinaire Naomi Elbinger, of Bloomah’s City Farm for a fun and fascinating walk in nature!  This 1.5 hour mini–adventure will be absolutely chock-full of discovery.  Walk with us and learn about what’s growing outdoors in our very own Garden of Eatin‘, along fabulous nature trails in Israel. Find  and learn to identify greens, edible flowers, tasty roots, legumes, medicinal plants, herbs for tea, and more!  Bring along some clippers and a foraging bag…you’ll want to gather these edibles and bring them home to prepare.

The workshop will be taking place in a beautiful nature reserve – feel free to wander off on your own afterwards to scout out a perfect, quiet picnic spot.

Come on your own, or with someone else – perfect for a unique date, fun friend outing, or some educational parent-teen bonding time.
