Nahal Prat Adventure + Wine Tasting
Sunday November 22nd: Join Hiking the Holyland and our expert guide Assaf on a desert oasis adventure just outside Jerusalem!
The day will begin at Nahal Prat, a stream valley of spring-fed pools and dramatic cliffs. We’ll hike down through the valley to the ancient Faran Monastery, built into the cliff face by Byzantine monks. After a challenging hike of about 5 kilometers, we’ll make a stop at Ein Mabua, a rare spring known for gushing to life in sudden bursts.
We’ll end the day at Psagot Winery, where we’ll enjoy a winery tour and a wine and cheese tasting, and everyone goes home with a bottle of Psagot wine.
Minibus available from Jerusalem and Tel Aviv for an extra fee, split among riders (usually about 110–140 NIS per person).
Please note: The cost includes the winery tour, wine and cheese tasting, and a bottle of wine to take home. Entrance cost to Ein Prat Nature Reserve: 31 NIS adults, 16 NIS seniors, and free for Matmon members.
Challenging hike for physically fit hikers.
